The Architecture Award of the municipality of Ixelles is organised every two years. The award aims to distinguish recently completed projects, whose conceptual and formal qualities contribute significantly to the improvement of the urban landscape and / or the enhancement of the Ixelles heritage. The jury takes multiple criteria into consideration, which include the integration of design into the urban tissue, the relationship with the public space, the use of new technologies and techniques for sustainable development, the energy efficiency of the buildings, the revaluation of the existing heritage, etc…
In collaboration with the municipality, CIVA presents an exhibition showing a selection of entries.
BOGDAN & VAN BROECK is part of the exhibition with the project VUB U-Residence.
The exhibition with its inauguration on May 8th 2014 at CIVA (Ixelles), will announce the winner of the Award.
