Arch School Award 2011 for RITS! – 2011

On October 20, 2011, during the presentation of awards at EDUbuild – a biennial exhibition dedicated to educational buildings – the Erasmus University College Brussels (EHB), received a special award. The Arch School Awards is an awards’ ceremony for architects in three categories: school construction, school renovation / expansion and future school. To the surprise of everyone, however, there was a special award for the client, which was won by the Erasmus University College Brussels for RITS.

 

Architect bOb van Reeth (founding partner of AWG-architects and former Flemish Chief Architect) was jury chairman. He was assisted by Dirk Ferlin (Head of Infrastructure GO!), Danny Windmolders (Chairman Flanders Architect Organization NAV), Evelyne Weyers (Project leader-Staff member DBFM cell Agion), Herman Jult (Board Member Association of Flemish Architects) and Christoph Grafe (Director Flemish Architecture Institute).
