During the Venice Biennale of Architecture, ‘The Property Issue. Ground Control and the Commons’ (ARCH+) was released. In this issue, Oana Bogdan addresses the topic of land-grabbing in relation to the case of Roșia Montană in Romania.
A similarly named documentary, The Property Drama, was released earlier this year at the Chicago Architecture Biennial. The contributions from both Oana Bogdan & Leo Van Broeck where noticed by Niklas Maak, a renowned German architecture critic and arts editor of ‘Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung’.
