“Architecture should not be beautiful, but especially good. In Sighisoara, I lived in a badly built prefabricated block where everything was crooked. Three times a week, for eight years, I climbed the stairs of the medieval fortress for my piano lessons. The contrast between my block and the fortress couldn’t be greater. The architecture of the fortress made me dream. So studying architecture was an obvious choice and I’m still happy with it. Architects constantly pendel between the smallest details and the big picture, something I’ve come to be good at. We architects are not artists but doctors of space.” says Oana Bogdan.

In this interview in Knack Weekend, Oana Bogdan speaks about architecture, being a women architect and much more.
